Mixed woods make an outdoor living space fit in and stand out!
Shown: Old oak planks and beams left over from the renovation are transformed into a gathering place with the help of our design staff. Trident motif on the ends of a trestle base replicates the design found on eaves inside the house.
*Note: “reclaimed” is a tricky word. We use it only to describe wood literally rescued from destruction. Our “salvaged” alternative is local Beetlekill Blue Pine, which contributes to large-scale forest management here in the Rockies. Timber from blight-stricken forests is standing dead, ready to pass the disease to other trees, and burn in the next forest fire. We see it as an unmissable opportunity to work with zero-impact lumber and create beauty as part of the solution.
