CALICO SAGEBRUSH HICKORY – Carya Ovata

Hickory is the hardest, heaviest wood species grown sustainably in North America. It’s also dramatic, with intermingling heartwood and sapwood layers in contrasting ivory and chestnut tones. The grain pattern is unmistakeably natural (unstained), and introduces rustic feel without the knotty figure. The species is simultaneously woodsy and clean, with sweeping grain pattern built in refined designs, and the “calico” grade guarantees heartwood and sapwood on both sides of each board. Ours is Forest Stewardship Council-certified sustainable and kiln-dried for any climate.
